This cake was made to celebrate a friend's birthday. Alison said her friend loves fruit and flowers, so we did a combo of both. The top tier of this cake is a moist lemon cake with lemon filling and the bottom is a dark chocolate cake with a strawberry filling. The cake is iced entirely in a creamy traditional butter cream and adorned with edible pansy - like flowers! I love the color of the flowers with the creamy yellow centers.
