F.S.E.

This cake was made for a little baby girl's very first birthday. Her mother cleverly decided to do her monogram on her party cake. I really love this idea. I think it is a very pretty, feminine and personalized idea. There will be plenty of themed parties when you can't do anything but Micky Mouse on demand, so I really like the simplicity of her idea.
As party favors she is going to have round cookies made with her monogram too!
This is a moist french vanilla cake with a raspberry filling and iced entirely with a traditional butter cream icing!

Pansy's

This cake was made to celebrate a friend's birthday. Alison said her friend loves fruit and flowers, so we did a combo of both. Big News...

Well, in case you have missed the rumors, Seeking Sweetness LLC is officially in place. I am baking and decorating in a commercial kitchen at the Olde Town Kolache Kitchen in the afternoons after they close at noon. I am so excited about this amazing opportunity!
Storage has been an issue for me previously, and now that will not factor into being able to make an amazing and affordable special cake for your occasion!
You will be able to pick up your cake from the Olde Town Kolache store at 14129 Memorial Drive at your convenience before noon! It will eliminate the need to have an exact pick up time for you and make your cake more available on your schedule!
You can check them out at www.oldetownkitchen.com They have the best breakfast in town!
I am so thankful for this opportunity and hope that you are just as excited about this endeavor as I am. I as always appreciate you choosing me for your special occasion, and I love that my cakes get to celebrate with you!

Simply Stated...

This cake was made for a wedding today in Galveston. The bride specifically wanted a stacked four tiered wedding cake with bridal white butter cream icing. She had plans to adorn the cake with beautiful fresh flowers once the cake is received at the reception location.

The bottom tier is a white sponge cake with strawberry filling. The next tier is a Swiss chocolate cake with a tart cherry filling. The next is an Italian cream cake with a raspberry filling and the top is a lemon cake with a lemon filling. All iced in a traditional bridal white butter cream.

The bride had an amazing mother who picked up her cake for her. Both bride and mother have done many cakes before and so the pick up and delivery onlyNumbered List seemed natural for them.

Congratulations to the Bride and Groom on this beautiful October day. What an amazing day to be joined together as husband and wife in front of our God and their family and friends. This is a lovely day, I am wishing you only fond and lovely memories of today and wishing you all the happiness being bound together in Holy Matrimony brings!
