Wild Side...


This dense dark chocolate cake was made for Lori's birthday. She wanted a zebra print cake to celebrate, so the cake is covered in traditional butter cream and then rolled fondant.

Super Man...


This cake was made to celebrate Javier's fourth birthday!

This is a dense yellow cake with traditional butter cream icing, and of course the top is done to match the super man logo. What four year old little boy doesn't want a Super Man cake!

Dot to Dot...


This cake was made for a woman who won my cake at the Susan B. Komen auction. This cake was made to celebrate her sons 2nd birthday!


This cake is a two tiered cake. The bottom tier is a french vanilla cake with strawberry filling and iced in a creamy chocolate icing and then chocolate rolled fondant. The top tier is a dark chocolate cake filled and iced with creamy chocolate icing and then rolled fondant.


Princess Valerie...


This cake was made for Valerie's third birthday. She of course loves all of the princess's so she needed a princess cake! This is a moist french vanilla cake with butter cream icing and then rolled fondant icing.

Bicicleta de Papá


This cake was made for Santiago's 2nd birthday. He loves it when his dad takes him and his big sister on bike rides. They cruise in the back in the trailer while their dad does all of the hard work! Santiago, LOVES his Daddy's bike, so his mom requested that I do something to incorporate his Dad's bike into his cake.


This is a dense dark chocolate cake with a creamy chocolate butter cream icing and a fondant and edible bike to match his Dad's!

This cake was made for James' baptism today. He was made new and reborn into our Christian family. We learned today in Sunday school that as a Christian we should exemplify the christian traits God has given us through the Holy Spirit. Our fruits of the spirit are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control. This cake is a moist french vanilla cake with strawberry filling and a classic white butter cream icing. The cake is adorned with a wedgewood blue fondant bow.

E.V.A


These birthday petit fours are a super rich lemon with an infused lemon icing and are just the right amount of sweet and tart. Just enough to make you talk yourself into one more!

The turquoise color and a sage earth green colors were decided on to match the vintage airplane invitations.

This cake was made to celebrate the lovely couples matrimony. The couple were married on the beach so seashells seemed only appropriate. The bride very frugally requested a beautiful and ornate smaller tiered cake and a sheet cake to serve first. I really was most impressed with that concept. It really allows you to have the cake that you want and also be able to serve everyone.

Both cakes are a french vanilla cake with butter cre
am icing. The tiered cake also has a strawberry filling between each layer of cake.

I made the seashells out of poured white milk chocolate.

This cake was made for one of my daughter's friends seventh birthday. For starters, I can't believe my daughter has seven year old friends. I know I've mentioned this before but wasn't she just born like a week ago? :)

This dense yellow cake is iced entirely in butter cream, and matches the invitation Laura sent out for the party.

Crabs... This cake and these cupcakes were made for Ford's fourth birthday! Four big ones! :)


The cake is french vanilla with a strawberry filling and butter cream icing. Each of the cupcakes is a french vanilla with a swirl of butter cream, and a hand made little fondant crab. All entirely edible.

This cake was made for little Henry's first birthday. His birthday coincides with football season so it only seemed appropriate to have a football themed party!

His Mom sent me a proof of the invitation and we collaborated based on that design.

The party cake is a dark chocolate cake with butter cream icing. I made the shoes out of gum paste, and they are completely edible! The bow, and football are made out of fondant and also edible.

This cake was made for Simon's 50th birthday. His sweet wife Lois knew exactly what theme to pick for his cake. She said if she is ever missing him in the house she knows she will find him in his office playing Tetris! :)

Grown Up...


I love love love this cake. This cake is made for a woman who is turning thirty this year and I am envious of her cake! I love it, and I hope she does too!

The bottom tier of this cake is a dark chocolate cake and the top tier is a french vanilla cake. All filled and iced entirely with a traditional butter cream. The flowers are made of fondant and have a butter cream button in the center of each.

This cake was made to celebrate Danielle's birthday! She sells thirty one gifts, and you can actually find her blog site in my favorites, so a monogram was only appropriate for her!


This is a classic yellow cake with all butter cream icing, after I finished the scroll work I added a bit of bling to it. Ya'll know I love the European Glitter. I did go sparingly, but really there is never an occasion when you should not use glitter! :)

This cake was made for Isabel's 7th birthday. Her party was at the skating rink, but she didn't want a roller skate because that is not how she rolls... She roller blades! So... her cake had a roller blade on it!

These cute cupcakes were made of our Moms club night out. Cupcakes and Cocktails. I donated 12 french vanilla and 12 lemon cupcakes with a swirl of lemon infused butter cream.

This cake was made for one of our church missionaries. She is on a continued mission in Africa, but is home for three weeks, and her birthday happened to fall during her time at home. It wouldn't be polite to specify a ladies age, but this is a milestone year, so in keeping with tradition she needed a special cake.

This is a dark chocolate cake with a tart cherry filling. The filling has a little bit of German desert wine called Kirsch in it. The cake is iced in a traditional butter cream icing and topped with shredded Ghiradeli dark chocolate, and Marciano cherries!

These cupcakes were made for a little man's birthday who loves star wars! There are thirty six, half chocolate half a classic yellow cake. Each generously dabbed with a traditional butter cream. I made the light sabers and stars out of fondant, both are very edible.

This cake was made for Austen's birthday. He is celebrating by playing laser tag with his buddies. His mom decided to decorate his cake in his favorite colors. This lime green cake is half chocolate and half traditional yellow cake all iced in a classic butter cream. The lettering on the cake is piped in butter cream and then generously dusted with edible glitter. I think it kind of ties in the whole laser tag theme. (not to mention I just really love edible glitter, and could just about find a reason to use it on every cake.)

Noah's Ark...



This cake was made for Noah's first birthday.
His mom wanted a Noah's Ark themed cake.

The ark is made of a french vanilla cake iced in a creamy chocolate butter cream icing and then rolled fondant. The bottom two cakes are both french vanilla and iced in a traditional butter cream icing.

Each of the little animals I made out of rolled fondant. Two elephants, giraffes, pigs, and cardinals. All are edible.

This cake was made for Beck's third birthday! Three years old and he loves Golf. What a man huh... :)
This moist vanilla cake has is filled and iced with a traditional butter cream. The sand trap is made of crushed graham crackers and the little fondant and edible duck is sitting in a butter cream pond.

This cake was made for Nicholas' 18th birthday. He LOVES baseball, and is very good at it, so it was only appropriate his mom choose a baseball cake for his birthday. This dark chocolate cake is iced in a traditional chocolate butter cream. The baseball also a dark chocolate cake covered in rolled fondant icing with butter cream stitching.
